The Zrmanja River, located in the northern Dalmatia, is a popular river in Croatia. The river has its source in the southern section of the Velebit Mountain. It then travels downwards and surrounds the southern end of Velebit. The Zrmanja River again bends westwards, and arrives at Obrovac. Then again, after travelling a few kilometers, the waterway runs into the Adriatic Sea.
