Reviews
I took my 13 year old son here for something “different” to do. We did the River Duckies. What can I say? Had a fantastic day! Special mention has to go to Kev, our guide, who has the patience of a saint. He sang his way down the river! My son ended up in the duckie on his own, whilst Kev was in with me. Very safety conscious and took us both down the 2nd last rapid individually. Put me and my son back together for the final rapid, where we ended up in the river. Honestly, one of the best experiences ever!!
Loads of laughter and great staff.
Review of: Canyoning Half-Day Trip at Keltneyburn from Aberfeldy
I did a whole day with Splash White Water Rafting. The morning was riding in a ” ducky ” a single seat inflatable. The briefing we got was full and explained everything we would be doing and how to do it. Into a calm part of the river for practice then into the rapids. Each one being briefed beforehand. An excellent morning with much laughter. Afternoon canyoning. Again fully briefed and into the water. Started small and built up to the final jump. Wow. All I can say is thanks to Aivars and Mark for a lot of fun. Brilliant.
Visited recently for duckies was brilliant with our leader Pinxo. We had so much fun and felt safe throughout day would highly recommend.
Had originally planned on white water rafting but eventually I did a river duckie. This is basically an inflatable canoe. The trip starts on flat water which gives you experience of handling the boat in easy conditions. Then it gets more interesting as the rapids get progressively more difficult. I was very fortunate since, doing it on my own, meant I had 1:1 tuition. The guide (Doug) was brilliant and gave me enough confidence to tackle the final (grade 3) rapid and I got through it and stayed in the boat. A very enjoyable experience but guys- “River Duckies” you must come up with a better name than that!!
Review of: White Water Rafting and Stand Up and Paddle Boards on the River Tay from Aberfeldy
We had a great weekend rafting, and using duckies and buggies.
The guys are very relaxed and fun but very professional at the same time, you will be safe with Splash.
We were a group of 8 and there is literally nothing negative we can find to say it was all good.
I want to go back to raft the Orchy once the rain arrives.
