Rafting In Sibera
It is one of the most interesting routes in Altai. This route will allow you to get acquainted with the most picturesque area of Altai, to feel the mystical charm of Altai.
You will pass on legendary Cuysky highway and visit unique Teletskoe Lake stretched more than on 70 kms.
You will see magnificent rocky canyons of the River Bashkaus, majestic valley of the River Chulyshman, cut into in a mountain plateau for more than 1000 meters. You will visit the Uchar waterfall (150 m).
You will pass through high-mountainous tundra, the Siberian taiga and mountain steppe and get acquainted with a life of the local inhabitants. Technically this route is rather complex – the complexity of 4 – 5 classes, which you, however, can easily bypass on a coast.
On all route the car will accompany you.THE PROGRAM of TRAVEL:
Day 1 Meeting at the airport, station. Easy breakfast. Bus route: Barnaul – Gorno-Altaisk -Yaloman (10 hours). Night on the coast of river Katun. Evening of acquaintances.
Day 2 Trip by bus: Yaloman – Aktash – Ust-Ulagan – Saratan (9 hours).
Day 3 Rafting to Saratan canyon with rapids of 3 – 4 category. Investigation of the canyon. Rest. Fishing.
Day 4 Passage of rapids of Saratan canyon (3 – 5 category). Rafting to Ust-Ulagan.
Day 5 Passing to the river Chulyshman. Preparation for rafting.
Day 6 Rafting , crossing of rapids (4 category) of the Tudanskiy cascade. Investigation.
Day 7 Rapids of the Tudanskiy cascade (5 – 5 + category.) – is very serious and extreme rapids (only for those who possess experience).
Day 8 Rapids of Itukaiskiy cascade (4 – 5 category.). Rafting to a mouth of the river Chulcha.
Day 9 Walking (8 kms.) to the most grandiose waterfall of Siberia Uchar (150 meters of fall).
Day 10 Rafting to a mouth of the river Chulyshman. Gathering. Banya. Accompanying measures and procedures.
Day 11 Trip on a boat along Teletskoe Lake (70 kms.) Magnificent sights.
Day 12 Departure by bus: Artubash – Gorno-Altaisk – Byisk – Barnaul.12 days Barnaul – Barnaul
