International Rafting Federation Raft Guide Courses with Splash White Water Rafting, Scotland UK

Splash White Water Rafting run several Raft Guide Training courses each year in Scotland and also in Morocco. These are IRF 'International Rafting Federation' approved courses for qualification for raft guides. Course includes Swift Water Rescue Certification. At present Splash White Water Rafting are the only IRF accreditated guide training school in Scotland.

With this qualification you can obtain paid work as a guide in Scotland and in over 30 international countries. Also courses available in Morocco see bottom of page

Please if you have no water experience call us and ask to come along to splash and gain experience prior to doing the course. It will help a lot! You can gain experience by sitting alongside our trained guides in Scotland or Morocco

Course Costs

£575 residential ask for non residential prices Same price for Scotland and Morocco

Minimum of 8 students required to run course. A maximum of 12 on any course.

2009 Splash ran several courses during 2009 and early 2010 for both new guides and also experienced guides looking to progress to IRF trip leader and IRF instructor level.

These courses are run by IRF trainers and Rescue 3 Swift Water Rescue instructors and level 5 BCU coaches

On all Splash courses we aim to use a selection of rivers throughout Scotland during the course to enhance the experienced gained. We can also arrange for the course to be extended to include an international destination mult-day rafting expedition
