A short adventure holiday to magical Marrakech Morocco to see parts the majority will never see! This short break can be extended to include other adventures like treking or canyoning or just to spend more time in the markets and souks of Marrakech.
Splash White Water Rafting have a base in Marrakech Morocco 12 months of the year and we run adventure holidays as well as the rafting trips. Activities include , rafting, canyoning, river bugging or tubes, hot air ballooning, quad, bikes, mountain bikes and treking. Packages can be arranged from 2 days to 2 weeks and everything in between.
River Ahansal White Water Rafting
Our Short Break white water rafting trip to Marrakesh and Morocco is run during late Feb until May each year. You can do this trip in four days from the UK. Leave Thurs pm arrive back Monday.

YOUR ITINERARY Day 1 
We meet at the Hotel am.We drive in our private minibus to the Cascades D'Ouzoud. Here we will check out this amazing waterfall and sample a sumptuous lunch. This one of the hidden beauties of Morocco, seen by very few tourists.
We drive past Bin El Ouidane, the spectacular blue lake framed with majestic red hills and through the Atlas Mountains to our spectacular base camp on the banks of the river. Take your afternoon at leisure. Perhaps a chance for a shower and a read of your favourite book, or time to go for a walk and explore the spectacular views in this area.
Our ground crew have prepared you a wonderful meal to enjoy riverside. Sample a chardonnay, Moroccan Red or an ice cold beer from our cash bar with your meal.
Included: Lunch and Diner Day 2 
Your choice of cereal and fresh fruit or cooked breakfast before we don our rafting equipment and have a safety talk from your trip leader. We take safety very seriously and take the time to explain the fundamentals of rafting as a team. Your international guide will then give his or her crew a paddle talk and you are on the river.
The views along the first part of the river are to say the least spectacular. You will stare in awe up at the canyon walls, the silence only interrupted by the next rapid or the calls of a monkey
We pass through the village of Tiloguite through a narrow gorge, with plenty of waving children amazed at our multi coloured equipment. Shortly after Tiloguite, we enter a large gorge with so many rapids, you will simply lose count. This is a thrill a minute rollercoaster ride as we paddle our raft through towering waves and manouvre around rocks. Todays rapid highlights include "The Squeeza" "The Wall" and "The Bridge Beast". These are interspersed by literally hundreds of fun rapids.
We camp at the site of a working watermill, for the evening deep in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
We get changed, after a magical day on the river. Our team has prepared the traditional Moroccan Meal of Tajine. Enjoy a chat around the campfire with your fellow adventurers, recounting the days stories.
Included: All meals Day 3 
As the sun hits camp, awaken to smell of freshly brewed coffee. Breakfast is served and we put on the river above a great rapid called "Morning Surprise". After waiving farewell to our ground team, we are straight into more rapids.
A highlight is "Rock The Casbah" a technical rapid which is 100% FUN! We paddle into the lower reaches of the river, surrounded by huge mountains. We enter into the lower gorges of this river, a true hidden treasure. There is no other way into this region, that by river. You will be amazed and astounded by it's beauty.
We paddle onto the crystal clear waters of Bin El Ouidane where we are met by our motor boat. As we tow you across the lake, we sample a wonderful "floating lunch" taking in the views and reflecting on the past days adventure.
We arrive at our vehicle and relax as we take the drive back to Marrakech and your hotel.
Two nights in Marrakesh and 2 nights on the river cost £299pp
A 7 night multi activity break including he above rafting trip and canyoning, river tubes and Ourika Valley tour as well as 5 nights in Riad Splash in Marrakech is £499pp
The above long weekend rafting trip is every weekend from March to June every year. The full week multi-activity week is all year round
Ourika Gorge Rafting Trip
A half day rafting trip including collect and return from Marrakesh by coach and guide.
The Ourika river and gorge are in a stunning valley 1 hrs drive from Marrakesh overlooked by the snow covered Atlas mountains.
